Well CRAP… just even in the course of writing this post, I found this page that says it takes a year to get the Professional card.
My Belgian friend and host, Ward, turned me on to the Villo bike rental program in Brussels. It only costs 30€ per month and can be reserved now, 4 months before my trip. I’ll tackle that later this May after I’m done with all my thesis goodness.
A couple of weeks ago, I finally bit the bullet and bought my ticket to Brussels, Belgium. It’s for 75 days, September 8th to November 21st. The first two weeks, I’ll spend about 6 days in Paris and then 5 days in Lisbon, Portugal with my traveling friend, Jenn. Neither of us have been to Paris and I haven’t been back to Lisbon since August 2002. Can you say awesome? Yes, I think you can. And, I can’t wait to see this guy again, lovely Belgian friend that he is.
